  19. Subject: View During Receive Causes Fax Reception to Fail
  20.  
  21. Situation:
  22. ==========
  23. Receiving faxes with the View During Receive option enabled causes fax 
  24. reception to fail after the first page.
  25.  
  26. Solution:
  27. =========
  28. Problems with View During Receive are usually due to limited system 
  29. resources. Try the following measures to improve performance:
  30.  
  31. a)  In the Receive Setup dialog, select the Sweep display mode as 
  32.     opposed to the Scroll mode.
  33.  
  34. b)  In the Receive Setup dialog, click on Window Size and redraw the 
  35.     viewing window as small as is practical.
  36.  
  37. c)  Update to the April 21, 1993 release of WinFax PRO 3.0 if you are 
  38.     running an earlier release of the software. To verify the release 
  39.     date of your software, pull down the Help menu in WinFax, and select

  45. d)  If fax reception does not succeed after trying the measures listed
  46.     above, disable the View During Receive option.

  48.     Note:  In the After Reception section of the Receive Setup dialog, 
  49.            enable View Fax to view the fax automatically after it is 
  50.            received.
